The Character Strengthening and Counseling Center (P2K2) at Universitas Padjadjaran, managed by the Faculty of Psychology, provides free psychological support for students, lecturers, and education staff. It offers counseling, peer support, and mental health education to enhance academic and personal well-being. P2K2 also ensures inclusive mental health services for students with disabilities through accessible programs, inclusive peer counseling, and supportive group spaces, reinforcing Unpad’s commitment to a caring and inclusive academic environment.

Disabisa Platform

The Disabisa platform at Universitas Padjadjaran supports individuals with disabilities within the university community by enhancing accessibility and inclusivity in education. Established in 2022, the platform offers specialized training programs, including initiatives that empower individuals with hearing disabilities to become social media content creators. Learning materials are delivered in accessible video formats equipped with sign language interpretation and subtitles. This initiative enables flexible, independent learning and reflects Unpad’s commitment to providing equal access to skills development and inclusive education.

Disability Mentoring

Sign language and interpreter


Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) is committed to inclusivity and accessibility in all of its academic events, including graduation ceremonies. As part of this commitment, Unpad provides sign language interpreter services at every commencement ceremony to ensure that students and guests with hearing impairments can fully participate in and experience the celebration. We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.
To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. Disability task force


Unpad has a task force for disabled students at Padjadjaran University, chaired by Dr.Eng. Boy Yoseph Cahya Sunan Sakti Syah Alam, S.T., M.T. The tasks of this task force are: (1) Carrying out various publications and campaigns about disability-friendly campuses
(2) Providing consultations on the practice of assisting people with disabilities in faculties and other work units at Unpad, including through a disability-friendly website
(3) Providing consultation for Lecturers and Education Personnel in supporting students with disabilities
(4) Building collaboration with disability organizations
(5) Conduct/supervise training for volunteers, lecturers, education staff and students on matters that support the activities of people with disabilities, such as sign language, use of assistive devices, and interaction etiquette.

A primary measure involves the development of accessible infrastructure that facilitates equitable participation in academic and social activities. This is evidenced by the presence of various facilities within lecture buildings, including designated parking spaces, accessible pathways equipped with guiding blocks, ramps, elevators with braille indicators, and restrooms specifically designed for individuals with disabilities.
