Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) has established a comprehensive policy framework to ensure equality, fairness, and non-discrimination in the workplace. This commitment is explicitly stated in the university’s internal regulation on Non Civil Servant Education Staff (Non PNS TKU). Article 6 paragraph (1) guarantees that “every member of the community who meets the requirements, qualifications, and competencies has the same opportunity to apply to become a Non PNS TKU,” demonstrating Unpad’s policy to provide equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on religion, gender, sexuality, age, ethnicity, or social background. Furthermore, Article 31 paragraph (2) reinforces this principle by stating that “career path opportunities are provided in all activities, participation, and structures regardless of ethnicity or race and/or gender.” These provisions ensure that all academic and administrative staff are treated fairly and have equal access to professional growth.

Unpad’s employment policies emphasize meritocracy, transparency, and inclusivity, ensuring that recruitment, promotion, and professional development are determined solely by qualifications and performance. The university actively upholds diversity and equal opportunity in all employment practices, in line with SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Through these frameworks, Unpad demonstrates a strong institutional commitment to ending all forms of discrimination in the workplace and creating an inclusive and respectful working environment for all.
