These entities play a strategic role in advising, implementing, and monitoring programs related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and human rights within the academic community.

 

Gender and Child Research Center of Universitas Padjadjaran

One of the key units is the Gender and Child Research Center, which focuses on advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment through research, training, and policy recommendations at local, national, and international levels. In addition, the Task Force for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence ensures a safe and respectful campus environment by conducting prevention programs, awareness campaigns, and response mechanisms for gender-based issues.

Task Force for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence

Unpad also strengthens its commitment to inclusivity through the Disability Task Force, which actively promotes a disability-friendly campus. This unit provides consultation, conducts training for lecturers, staff, and students, and collaborates with external organizations to enhance accessibility and support systems. It also plays a role in developing inclusive policies and coordinating services for students with disabilities across faculties and work units.

Student Task Force for Persons with Disabilities at Universitas Padjadjaran

The Task Force for Students with Disabilities at Universitas Padjadjaran has the duty to support the creation of an inclusive and disability-friendly campus environment. This task force carries out various important roles, including:

 

  1. Conducting publication and campaigns to create awareness of the importance of a disability-friendly campus.
  2. Providing consultation services related to disability assistance practices in all work units and faculties at Unpad, including through disability-friendly online media.
  3. Providing consultation to lecturers and education staff in order to support students with disabilities.
  4. Establishing cooperation with various disability organizations to expand networks and strengthen support.
  5. Organizing training or supervising training for volunteers, lecturers, education staff, and students on important matters such as the use of sign language, assistive tools, and ethics of interaction.
  6. Designing and proposing various forms of programs and policies for special services for students with disabilities.
  7. Coordinating services and direct assistance for students with disabilities.
  8. Coordinating and socializing with all university elements including leaders, lecturers, academic staff, and administration to realize accessible services and facilities in all aspects.
  9. Conducting regular evaluations of the services that have been provided and continuously making improvements to increase the quality of these services.
