Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) ensures that its sustainability and waste minimisation policies are fully integrated into all procurement and supplier activities, including those involving equipment, stationery, and construction services. Guided by Rector Regulation No. 1 of 2023 on Procurement of Goods and Services, the university requires suppliers to adhere to environmental responsibility principles throughout the procurement process.
Suppliers are obligated to:
Conduct electronic transactions and documentation to reduce paper use.
Apply efficiency and effectiveness principles to minimise resource consumption and environmental impact.
Provide sustainable goods and services that consider economic, social, and environmental aspects across their entire life cycle.
Support Unpad’s policies on waste management, plastic reduction, and responsible production practices.

Through these requirements, Unpad ensures that suppliers and contractors comply with its Eco-Friendly Campus and Green Procurement standards, extending environmental accountability beyond internal operations. The policy promotes digital-based, low-impact procurement while encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly materials and sustainable supply chain practices.
