Universitas Padjadjaran has put in place a comprehensive and structured mechanism to ensure that remuneration is implemented fairly across all faculties and administrative units. The Rector’s Regulation No. 14 of 2022 outlines, through its chapters on remuneration governance and implementation procedures, that each work unit must submit periodic reports detailing employee salaries, allowances, and performance-based incentives. This structure ensures that data on remuneration is consistently collected, standardized, and transparent.

These reports are reviewed by the Directorate of Finance and the remuneration management team, as mandated in the monitoring and evaluation chapters of the regulation. The review process focuses on ensuring that the pay scale aligns with job classifications, workload, and performance indicators, preventing discrimination based on gender or other personal characteristics. Regular internal assessments are conducted to ensure that all components of remuneration reflect objective criteria and institutional standards.

Furthermore, the regulation requires ongoing evaluation of remuneration patterns to identify disparities and recommend improvements. Through systematic data analysis and continuous oversight, Universitas Padjadjaran strengthens accountability and supports evidence-based policy refinement. This sustained commitment demonstrates Unpad’s alignment with SDG 5 on gender equality and SDG 8 on fair, inclusive, and decent employment practices, reinforcing transparency and equity in its compensation system.
