Universitas Padjadjaran provides public access to selected buildings, monuments, and natural heritage landscapes of cultural and historical significance across its campuses, reflecting the university’s commitment to openness, cultural preservation, and community engagement. The university recognizes the importance of safeguarding its historical assets and natural environments while making them accessible to the wider public as spaces for learning, cultural appreciation, and social interaction. Where possible, access to these sites is provided free of charge, allowing community members, visitors, and local stakeholders to engage with the university’s cultural and natural heritage without barriers.
Universitas Padjadjaran operates two main campuses, namely the Jatinangor Campus in Sumedang Regency and the Iwa Koesoemasoemantri Campus in Dipati Ukur, Bandung, both of which host buildings and open spaces that hold academic, cultural, and historical value. In addition, the university manages Study Programs outside the Main Campus (PSDKU), including the PSDKU Pangandaran Campus, which is closely integrated with coastal and natural landscapes. Across these locations, Unpad maintains public pathways, open green areas, and culturally significant facilities that are accessible to the public, while implementing appropriate management measures to ensure safety, environmental sustainability, and the long-term preservation of these assets.
