University’s governing body have student representation

Universitas Padjadjaran upholds principles of good governance by ensuring inclusive and participatory decision-making processes that involve various stakeholders, including students, academic staff, and external representatives. This approach reflects the university’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and institutional integrity.
The Board of Trustees (MWA) of Universitas Padjadjaran serves as the highest governing body in a state university with legal entity (PTN-BH). It functions as a policymaking and non-academic supervisory body, responsible for determining institutional policy directions, approving long-term plans and annual budgets, and overseeing the implementation of policies by the rector.
The composition of MWA includes representatives from multiple stakeholders, such as the Minister (or representative), Rector, lecturers, education staff, students, and external professionals or public figures. Within this structure, student representation plays a vital role in conveying student perspectives and ensuring their involvement in strategic decision-making processes.
In 2025, the Student Representative Body of MWA (MWA-WM) continues to strengthen its role through an organized structure consisting of the Secretary General, Head of Strategic Studies, Head of Public Relations, Head of Communication and Information, and Special Staff. MWA-WM 2025 carries a renewed commitment to advocating student aspirations and contributing to the realization of Good University Governance at Universitas Padjadjaran.
