Halal Advocates Movement and Unpad Halal Canteen
Universitas Padjadjaran promotes health, nutrition, and hygiene awareness through its Halal Advocates Movement, which includes the establishment of a Halal Canteen and a Student Halal Industry Movement. The program educates and empowers the community particularly small business owners on safe, hygienic, and halal food processing standards. Students actively participate as volunteers in providing food safety workshops and certification guidance. This initiative promotes health-conscious and responsible consumption practices, a culture of food ethics and community well-being.

Growth Monitoring Promotion (GMP) for Stunting Prevention

Universitas Padjadjaran implements the Growth Monitoring Promotion (GMP) program as an integrated intervention to prevent and reduce stunting at both the individual and community levels. The program involves public health and medical students in monitoring children’s growth, providing nutrition education, and training local health cadres. Education and Dental Examination: “Senyum Garut untuk Negeri”
The “Senyum Garut untuk Negeri” (Smile for the Nation) program, led by the Faculty of Dentistry, combines oral health education and free dental examinations for communities affected by disasters in Garut Regency. Faculty members and students provide dental care services, distribute hygiene kits, and educate residents on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental practices. This initiative expands access to healthcare for vulnerable populations while fostering a volunteerism culture among students.

Promotion of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) and Waste Management
Universitas Padjadjaran conducts public education campaigns on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in villages surrounding the campus, coupled with river clean-up activities and the establishment of waste collection sites (TPS). Participants undergo wellness mentoring, health check-ups, and motivational sessions aimed at fostering healthy habits. Each participant is encouraged to inspire at least five others to adopt similar practices, creating a ripple effect of health awareness across the campus community.

Stunting Education Program in Bojong Village

Universitas Padjadjaran implements a stunting education program in Bojong Village to improve community understanding of child nutrition and maternal health. The program involves medical and public health students conducting workshops on balanced diets for pregnant women, breastfeeding importance, and child growth monitoring.
