Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) is strongly committed to implementing a transparent and equitable remuneration system that ensures fair compensation for all faculty and staff in accordance with their performance and responsibilities. As part of this system, a monthly recap of remuneration details is compiled and sent by the Directorate of Finance to each employee, ensuring accountability and clarity in the distribution of salaries, allowances, and performance incentives.

 

Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), as a state university with legal entity (PTN BH) status, adheres to government regulations regarding compensation for civil servants (PNS) working within the university. Based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 19 of 2025 concerning Performance Allowances for Employees within the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, civil servants under this ministry are entitled to receive a performance allowance (tunjangan kinerja) determined by their job classification and performance achievements. With the implementation of this regulation starting January 1, 2025, Unpad ensures that all civil servants within the university receive remuneration in accordance with national standards, consisting of both basic salary and performance allowance, thereby supporting the principle of employment practice living wage, or fair and decent pay for all faculty and staff, in line with government policy.

Meanwhile, the variable income consists of performance incentives awarded according to measurable outputs and impacts in teaching, research, and community service. Through this structure, Unpad guarantees that lecturers who fulfill their academic and professional duties receive compensation that supports a decent standard of living, reflecting the university’s commitment to fair and sustainable employment practices.

Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) ensures fair and performance-based compensation for all administrative staff (tenaga kependidikan), reflecting the university’s commitment to the employment practice living wage principle. The remuneration system consists of fixed and variable income components. Fixed income includes base salary, functional allowance, and PTNBH salary, provided that staff fulfill the required workload of 37.5 hours per week and meet performance standards such as credit point achievements or minimum SKP scores. Variable income is awarded as performance incentives based on individual and institutional performance indicators (KPI and IKU). Through this structured system, Unpad guarantees that both functional and non-functional administrative staff receive fair compensation aligned with their contributions and performance, supporting decent and sustainable living conditions.
