
Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) continues to strengthen its global reputation in legal education. In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025, Unpad’s Law program secured a position in the 301+ ranking.
Unpad Rector Prof. Arief S. Kartasasmita expressed gratitude for the growing recognition from prestigious ranking institutions, emphasizing that these achievements further motivate UNPAD to enhance academic quality and societal impact. Meanwhile, Dean of Faculty of Law, Dr. Sigid Suseno, acknowledged the contributions of faculties, staff, students, alumni, and partners, stressing that such rankings should translate into tangible benefits for both the academic community and society.
Prof. Mohamad Fahmi, Head of the Strategic and Reputation Advancement Unit, highlighted UNPAD’s positive trajectory, noting that in addition to Law’s strong performance, Computer Science entered the rankings at 801–1000. He attributed these achievements to strengthened research, increased publications, and international collaborations.
Beyond Law, THE WUR by Subject 2025 also ranked seven other UNPAD subjects:
- Business and Economics (801+)
- Medical and Health, (801–1000)
- Computer Science, (801–1000)
- Social Sciences (801–1000)
- Life Sciences (1001+)
- Physical Sciences (1001+)
- Engineering (1001–1250)
