Universitas Padjadjaran reinforces its commitment to labour rights through the Mapag 2024 forum, a university wide dialogue designed to ensure that education staff have a clear voice in workplace matters. During this event, the leadership emphasized the importance of open communication, collective participation, and equal opportunities for all employees. Mapag serves as an institutional mechanism that enables staff to express concerns, provide input, and participate in shaping employment practices and service quality across the university.

The leadership also highlighted strategic initiatives to enhance staff welfare, including integrated performance evaluation systems, strengthened health benefits, and expanded opportunities for further study at reputable universities. These commitments reflect Unpad’s consistent effort to guarantee fair treatment, equal career development, and inclusive participation for women and international staff. By maintaining transparent channels for collective discussion and feedback, the university upholds the principles of freedom of association and responsible labour governance.

In addition to formal platforms such as Mapag, Universitas Padjadjaran benefits from the contribution of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Unpad leadership for the 2024 to 2029 period. While not functioning as a workers union, this organization plays a complementary role by supporting staff wellbeing through social programs that foster a harmonious and supportive environment. Its presence adds social cohesion and enhances the overall climate of care within the university community.

Together, the Mapag forum and the supportive initiatives from the Dharma Wanita Persatuan illustrate a comprehensive approach to labour rights at Unpad. The university recognizes the value of employee participation, ensures equitable access to welfare programs, and provides space for collective representation. These efforts demonstrate Unpad’s commitment to fair labour practices and its alignment with international standards for decent work, participation, and institutional inclusivity.
