Universitas Padjadjaran supports its employees by providing affordable housing options, including financial assistance for lecturers at its PSDKU Pangadaran campus. This initiative is aimed at easing the housing burden for faculty members, enabling them to focus on their academic and teaching responsibilities without the added stress of finding and affording suitable accommodation.

Universitas Padjadjaran supports infrastructure, such as housing, by providing financial assistance to lecturers in study programs outside the main campus. This support is outlined in the Decree of the Chancellor of Universitas Padjadjaran Number 4157/UN6.RKT/Kep/HK/2022 concerning Housing Assistance for PSDKU Pangandaran University Lecturers.
Lecturer housing assistance is provided to permanent non-PNS Lecturers who are stationed at PSDKU Pangandaran. This assistance is also available as a one-time benefit for non-PNS permanent lecturers at PSDKU Pangandaran who have purchased a house in Pangandaran. The amount of lecturer housing assistance is IDR 20,000,000, with all costs arising from this decision covered by the budget of Universitas Padjadjaran, Legal Entity College.
This housing assistance scheme reflects Universitas Padjadjaran’s commitment to supporting lecturer welfare and ensuring equitable working conditions for academic staff assigned to campuses outside the main university area. By providing targeted housing support, the university helps reduce the financial burden associated with relocation and settlement, particularly in regions with limited housing availability. The policy is designed to enhance staff retention, stability, and long-term commitment at PSDKU Pangandaran, thereby supporting the continuity and quality of academic activities. Through this measure, Universitas Padjadjaran integrates staff welfare considerations into its broader human resource management strategy, in line with principles of fairness, inclusivity, and institutional sustainability.
