Conduct Workshops and Deliver Programs to Enhance Universal Access to Essential Services

Programmes for Services Access to Community by Universitas Padjadjaran highlight the university’s active role in improving public access to essential services through education, training, and community empowerment initiatives. Unpad regularly organizes programs that enhance community capacity in areas such as health, sanitation, clean water, education, and digital literacy. These initiatives are designed to ensure that all members of society particularly those in underserved and rural areas can access and benefit from basic social and public services. Through these inclusive efforts, Unpad supports reinforcing its commitment to building resilient communities and promoting equitable access to essential resources for sustainable development.

Disability Services Unit (ULD) – Inclusive Access for Students with Special Needs
Universitas Padjadjaran shows a strong commitment to inclusivity and equal access to higher education through the Disability Services Unit (Unit Layanan Disabilitas/ULD). The unit functions as a comprehensive support center for students with disabilities, providing assistive learning tools, adaptive technologies, and accessible facilities. It also offers faculty training and mentoring programs to ensure an inclusive academic environment. Through ULD, Unpad empowers students with special needs to succeed academically and fully participate in campus life.

Integrated Service Unit (ULT) – “One-Stop Service” for the Academic Community and Public

Universitas Padjadjaran established the Integrated Service Unit (Unit Layanan Terpadu/ULT) as a one-stop service center to improve efficiency and accessibility for students, staff, and the public. The unit provides academic, administrative, and public information services through a digital platform that ensures transparency and inclusivity. By supporting low-income students and local communities, ULT guarantees barrier-free access to university services. This initiative reflects Unpad’s commitment to responsive, inclusive, and transparent governance.

Four Affirmative Admission Pathways in the 2024/2025 Student Admission Process
Universitas Padjadjaran promotes educational equity and social inclusion through four affirmative admission pathways in its 2024/2025 Student Admission Process. These pathways include scholarships for students with disabilities, opportunities for outstanding students from frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged regions (3T) regions (Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal), and access for first-generation students and schools that have never sent graduates to Unpad. This affirmative policy expands access to quality higher education for low-income and marginalized groups.

Universitas Padjadjaran implements training and community welfare programs. These initiatives aim to enhance equitable access to basic services, particularly for marginalized and low-income communities. Through capacity-building workshops, inclusive public services, and empowerment programs, Unpad ensures that all individuals regardless of economic or social background can access essential facilities such as education, health, and administrative services. This approach not only promotes social inclusion and community resilience but also supports sustainable poverty alleviation through improved access and participation in basic social systems.
